# Onboarding a new workspace

> The guided flow that takes a new workspace to its first campaign.

A new workspace opens on a short guided flow. It exists so a team reaches its first executed campaign without having to find the right settings pages first.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Welcome">
    A short introduction to what Concord does and the approval model.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect a platform">
    Authenticate the first advertising platform. You connect the accounts you are individually authorized to access.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set your scope">
    Pick the advertisers and accounts the workspace should work on. Each one becomes a brand. Only admins can change scope.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Start">
    The workspace opens on Home, with your brands and media plans created from the platform structure.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What to do next

The two things that pay off immediately:

1. **Fill in your [Organization Instructions](/settings/organization-description).** Two or three sentences about who you are, the markets you buy in, and the KPIs that matter.
2. **Import a real brief.** Paste it or attach it in a media plan and ask Concord to build the structure. Everything it creates lands in a non-active state, so this is safe to do on a live account. See [Testing without going live](/features/platform-actions/testing-safely).

<Tip>
  You do not need to write Skills up front. Work normally and accept the ones Concord proposes — each accepted suggestion is one less thing to repeat.
</Tip>
