# Signing in

> How you and your team authenticate, and how platform access is granted separately.

## Sign-in methods

Concord is passwordless. You sign in with:

* **Google SSO**
* **Microsoft SSO**
* **A one-time email link** sent to your work address

If your organization enforces MFA and conditional access on your identity provider, those policies continue to apply when you sign in to Concord through SSO.

## Two different kinds of access

Signing in to Concord and giving Concord access to an advertising platform are separate steps.

**Your Concord identity** gets you into the workspace, with a role that determines what you can change.

**Your platform connections** are per user. Each member connects the platforms and accounts they are individually authorized to access, from [Settings → Connectors](https://app.concord.ad/settings/connectors). Concord never has more platform access than the person who connected it.

An admin then decides which of those advertisers and accounts the workspace actually activates. See [Managing scope](/settings/managing-scope).

## Joining a workspace

An admin invites you by email from Settings → Collaborators. The invitation link takes you through sign-in and drops you into the workspace with the role you were given.

If you reach Concord without an invitation, you land on a request-access screen. Access is invite-only.

## Leaving a workspace

When an admin removes a member, that member loses access immediately, and the platform connections they had authorized stop working for the workspace. Another member with access to the same accounts needs to connect the platform for the workspace to keep synchronizing and executing on it.
